Brandon West worked with us for the purchase of a 2021 Kona EV. He was very accomodating and professional about addressing any of our issues and has followed up several times after the purchase to make sure we are happy. He is very responsive to our follow up questions. We have found that the Kona EV is a perfect little car for running aorund town at a cost of around 2.5 cents a mile if one is buying electricity at $0.12/kWh. It sure drives like a little rocket compared out our other IC car:-)

Two days ago we traded in our old car and bought a new

Two days ago we traded in our old car and bought a new electric vehicle. All thanks to McDonald Hyundai ‘s great specialists, especially: sales consultant Micah Levy, finance specialist Spencer Armijo, service specialist Jay Centeno and parts specialist Shay Pratt! Micah got me interested over the phone to come to dealership and check out the car, as well as helped to manage the purchase and answered a ton of questions. Jay helped my wife and I to make our final decision about the old car that was in service department at that moment and also answered a lot of questions. Spencer provided us with great warranty options and excellent courteous customer service. Shay is very knowledgeable on subject of tires; helped us to make the correct decisions for now and for the next winter season. We had more people assisting us during those few days, but we believe that Micah Levy, Jay Centeno, Spencer Armijo and Shay Pratt deserve a very special thanks from us and a good reward from McDonald Hyundai for the work and care they provided for us during those few days! After a less-than-stellar experience at a local dealer, I began to seriously work with Micah at McDonald Hyundai in Littleton. He was definitely a 10! Quick, thorough, aboveboard, pleasant, laid back…Absolutely no BS or high pressure tactics! I really appreciated that as I already had in mind exactly what I wanted and had researched extensively. Also, NO ridiculous add-on of thousands of dollars to the MSRP—you know, because of the chip shortage. Lol. That alone sold me on this dealership. Micah Levy was a real gentleman, and handled my purchase of a 2014 Subaru with class and honesty. McDonald Hyundai did a great job of preparing the car for sale. They had a list of repairs that they did, but did not even mention that they had put new brake pads on the car. They delivered more than they had revealed. It was a very good experience, and the car is terrific.

Flew in from another state to pick up a Certified

Flew in from another state to pick up a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Ioniq with 8432 miles. We already own a 2022 Ioniq and loved it so much we wanted a second one. Talking with the sales person Kyle McMillen on the phone, he told us that this vehicle was a retired service loaner. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the dealership to make the purchase. Our sales person was not there so someone else handled the paperwork. No Problem. Were told that the sales person needed to sign off on the paperwork later and they would email me all the documents the next day. Friday. (I had to ask for the paperwork a week later). Upon loading the vehicle for our return home I notice there is a trailer hitch installed. When I inquire about that they say "our mistake, yeah this car is actually a lease return". Red flag for me. Paperwork is done. We are now driving home. Spend the night in Glenwood Springs. Next morning it is lightly snowing and forecast for a bunch of snow. We continue to not get stuck. Driving the car on the open road home we notice that the car is pulling to the right. We have not hit anything or taken it off road or anything of the sort. All smooth roads. After getting home we make contact with the Kyle at the dealership to inform of the pulling to the right. Vehicle needed an alignment. Also there were missing body parts underneath due to the trailer hitch install. He immediately referred us to his brother Kenneth McMillen the sales manager. I shared my concern about the alignment and the issue of a trailer hitch being installed. Kenneth made my point of concern perfectly by stating "there is no way of knowing if anything was towed with the car". Thank you Captain Obvious. Kenneth informs me to take the car to an alignment shop and get an alignment. Then tells me to let him know how he can help. I get the alignment and let him know he can help by covering the $130 cost and sending me the missing factory installed underbody parts. All this to a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that passed their 173 point inspection. Kenneth informs me the dealership would go out of business by fixing all the pre-owned vehicles and then does not reply back. Paid full asking price of a vehicle that was supposed to be a retired service loaner. Passed their 173 point inspection but still needed an alignment and has missing under body parts and a trailer hitch. I feel that this dealership cannot be trusted. Wanted to warn others to beware. Clearly by living out of state I will never do business with this dealership again but that would be the same for me if I lived around the corner from them. On a side note it has been almost a month and they have still not given me the title. Wonder if there is a problem with that.

Our sales associate Kyle and his business manager were outstanding! Went to 4 other dealerships prior to purchasing our Hyundai Tucson from them it was a breath of fresh air just being able to buy a car during this chaotic time. The OTHER local dealerships lied to us, tried to take more money from us, we’re unprofessional, the list was endless. McDonald Hyundai HELPED us! Kyle was a breath of fresh air! Helped us find a car, gave us the price, didn’t tell us we could only have it if we paid $6000 over MSRP, didn’t try to change the rate we were quoted after we agreed to buying our car and running our credit, didn’t tell us that if we didn’t change our trim package we would drop on the list. Thank god we didn't settle with Arapahoe Hyundai because McDonald Hyundai is a 1000x better customer dealership.

I can't say enough about Kyle McMillan, my salesperson and the McDonald Hyundai dealership! Kyle listened to what I wanted, made himself available and made it the best experience I have ever had. I spent an hour looking and made a decision without any pressure. I returned 2 days later to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. Spencer, the finance manager had all the paperwork ready and answered any questions I had. This took not more than an hour. I should mention that the initial online team also did a great job in getting me to Kyle at the very beginning. I highly recommend Kyle, Spencer and the entire McDonald Hyundai team. Love my 2022 Tucson Hybrid!

McDonald Hyunadi and Doe Snyder were amazing, not only yesterday, but over the past month with all of my phone calls, texts, and emails to Doe. To be clear, I never even met Doe until yesterday. She has been amazing! Everyone else there to assist with the financing and finalization of the purchase was amazing as well. This was the complete opposite of my past 6 plus years of experience (and unfortunately the past month) with Arapahoe Hyundai- I had no idea I could go to another Hyundai, so I wish I would have done that a long time ago. I will definitely be recommending McDonald Hyundai, Doe Snyder and all there to anyone I know needing a new car. With so many changes in the world these past couple of years due to the pandemic, customer service and true professionalism and concern for customers has dramatically declined across so many companies. My experience with Doe, Grant and a couple of others with McDonald Hyundai was not only so pleasantly opposite of that, but so refreshing! Even the emails from you- which I did not have time to respond to previously, so I apologize- after I had communicated with Doe, were different from Arapahoe Hyundai and 4 other Hyundai dealerships I communicated with- was out of the norm. I so appreciate the excellent service and care your team and the entire dealership provided to me. Doe and Spencer were so friendly and great to work with. No complaints. Derek, however, the sales manager was rude, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful to me. Because of him I almost walked away from a deal. Not only did he raise his voice at me, because he was clearly frustrated by a HYUNDAI ADVERTISED REBATE, but he walked away from me when I tried to have a conversation with him. He also, in so many words, insulted my intelligence by stating that I am reading the same small print at he is and but unable to comprehend what was being said. Unfortunately, for him, the small print for the rebate did NOT explain why I was “ineligible” for it and actually was very black & white—all I needed to do was prove that I graduated college within the past 2 years and show proof of employment (check & check). Derek tried to argue that I needed to prove my employment was related to my degree but no where on the rebate did it state that. I would 100% NEVER EVER recommend anyone work with him and if it wasn’t for Doe and Spencer I would never recommend anyone to that dealership.

CUSTOMERS READ - Unfortunately my husband & I did not have the best experience working with Allona or with McDonald Hyundai dealership. - Visited the dealership in Sept. worked with Allona. We were interested in leasing a Hyundai Tucson & we were told by Allona that it would arrive around the first week of November. - We provided Allona with 3 CONTACT OPTIONS to get a hold of us. She had my husband's email address, cell number & my cell number. My husband started corresponding with her via email to keep checking on the status & he did have to chase her a couple of times to get a response. Her email responses lacked any form of professionalism. - End of October my husband sent Allona an email to confirm the car arrival date. She responds & claims that she called, left him a voice message to let him know the car was ready. She then informs him that because she did not hear back from him, she sold the car to someone else. Apparently there is a certain window of time they wait to hear back from you before they sell the car to someone else. There obviously was no attempt to call my husband again. She did not call me and she did not email him to let us know the car was available. - My husband did not receive any missed calls or voice messages from her. Given that she had 3 different ways to contact us, when we asked her why she didn't call me or respond to the email thread to let us know the car was ready, she was unable to provide an explanation. However she seemed to have no issues contacting my phone number to let us know she sold the car to another customer. - No explanation provided, did not come across as apologetic and she did absolutely nothing to provide us with a solution. I thought rule number one of customer service is to try to rectify the massive inconvenience. We asked to speak to the manager, his name was Ray. - Ray luckily managed to find us another car but the car arrival date was pushed back 3 times. However, when I asked what was causing the bumping of vehicles in transit his response was 'Ports shipping company or the lack thereof I don't know if you pay attention to what's going on in the news.' Again, not the best customer facing response. However, he managed to find us another car. We greatly appreciated his help. - Car finally arrived on the 22nd of Nov. & we worked with sales manager Derek. Allona emailed us the night before we were picking up the car with our original lease proposal + original VIN number (VIN ended up being incorrect). Her email did not include any greeting nor did she try to apologize in writing. Just here is your lease proposal & the attachment. - Arrived at the dealership, new VIN number and the price went up significantly. I understand that it is a different VIN number but we were not informed in advance that the amount had changed. Again, note that Allona sent us our lease proposal the night before with the price that was originally discussed. We then get slapped with a brand new lease amount with a $215 increase. When I asked Derek to provide some sort of discount or even throw in rubber mats to justify the cost of $195 carpet mats under accessory charges, we were just given more BS and that there was nothing he could do for us. - Considering the massive inconvenience of having our original car sold from underneath us (to this day we still never received an explanation on why this happened), not being able to drive to work, grocery shopping, spent ridiculous amounts of money on car rentals/Ubers and lease amount increased, we left the dealership with a really bad taste in our mouths. - A part of me wishes that I had read the negative reviews on Google about McDonald Hyundai dealership. 'STEALERSHIP' is really the best word to describe our experience. - We worked with Doe to complete the paperwork. Doe was helpful and professional. - Buyer/ Leaser BEWARE and find another dealership. - We will be filing a complaint with Hyundai corporate about this and it is a shame that there was nothing they would do for us to provide a better customer experience.

Brandon West and his team Derek and John, did a great job on getting the specific car we were searching for. We had built our Hyundai online and reached out to over 50 dealers across the US trying to find the right vehicle. They were very responsive via email, text and calls. Marking up MSRP has been a standard business practice that has been challenging to customers across the US. It is important to understand that they did not markup the price from MSRP and it was worth travel. We saved over $2,000 to include travel cost. We live in Idaho and flew to Colorado for the car we had been searching for. They welcomed us with coffee and water and were quick with the paperwork process. We were in and out in an hour and driving back home to Idaho. Thank you! The Mills Family

Derek tried to argue that I needed to prove my employment was related to my degree but no where on the rebate did it state that. I would 100% NEVER EVER recommend anyone work with him and if it wasn’t for Doe and Spencer I would never recommend anyone to that dealership.

Truly atrocious customer service. He would not give us the time of day. When we were looking to lease a car through them, he would not explain why their website said totally different numbers than theirs. AND THEN HE ANGRILY STORMED OFF. We were asking simple questions of why they wouldn’t honor the Hyundai student discount, and they said that Hyundai lies about their student deal so they wouldn’t give us that. Went to another dealership and they doubled the student deal. Don’t know any manager that storms off when dealing with customers who are willing to lease a car through, but their loss and the other Hyundai dealerships gain.

CUSTOMERS READ - Unfortunately my husband & I did not have the best experience working with Allona or with McDonald Hyundai dealership. - Visited the dealership in Sept. worked with Allona. We were interested in leasing a Hyundai Tucson & we were told by Allona that it would arrive around the first week of November. - We provided Allona with 3 CONTACT OPTIONS to get a hold of us. She had my husband's email address, cell number & my cell number. My husband started corresponding with her via email to keep checking on the status & he did have to chase her a couple of times to get a response. Her email responses lacked any form of professionalism. - End of October my husband sent Allona an email to confirm the car arrival date. She responds & claims that she called, left him a voice message to let him know the car was ready. She then informs him that because she did not hear back from him, she sold the car to someone else. Apparently there is a certain window of time they wait to hear back from you before they sell the car to someone else. There obviously was no attempt to call my husband again. She did not call me and she did not email him to let us know the car was available. - My husband did not receive any missed calls or voice messages from her. Given that she had 3 different ways to contact us, when we asked her why she didn't call me or respond to the email thread to let us know the car was ready, she was unable to provide an explanation. However she seemed to have no issues contacting my phone number to let us know she sold the car to another customer. - No explanation provided, did not come across as apologetic and she did absolutely nothing to provide us with a solution. I thought rule number one of customer service is to try to rectify the massive inconvenience. We asked to speak to the manager, his name was Ray. - Ray luckily managed to find us another car but the car arrival date was pushed back 3 times. However, when I asked what was causing the bumping of vehicles in transit his response was 'Ports shipping company or the lack thereof I don't know if you pay attention to what's going on in the news.' Again, not the best customer facing response. However, he managed to find us another car. We greatly appreciated his help. - Car finally arrived on the 22nd of Nov. & we worked with sales manager Derek. Allona emailed us the night before we were picking up the car with our original lease proposal + original VIN number (VIN ended up being incorrect). Her email did not include any greeting nor did she try to apologize in writing. Just here is your lease proposal & the attachment. - Arrived at the dealership, new VIN number and the price went up significantly. I understand that it is a different VIN number but we were not informed in advance that the amount had changed. Again, note that Allona sent us our lease proposal the night before with the price that was originally discussed. We then get slapped with a brand new lease amount with a $215 increase. When I asked Derek to provide some sort of discount or even throw in rubber mats to justify the cost of $195 carpet mats under accessory charges, we were just given more BS and that there was nothing he could do for us. - Considering the massive inconvenience of having our original car sold from underneath us (to this day we still never received an explanation on why this happened), not being able to drive to work, grocery shopping, spent ridiculous amounts of money on car rentals/Ubers and lease amount increased, we left the dealership with a really bad taste in our mouths. - A part of me wishes that I had read the negative reviews on Google about McDonald Hyundai dealership. 'STEALERSHIP' is really the best word to describe our experience. - We worked with Doe to complete the paperwork. Doe was helpful and professional. - Buyer/ Leaser BEWARE and find another dealership. - We will be filing a complaint with Hyundai corporate about this and it is a shame that there was nothing they would do for us to provide a better customer experience.

I just wanted everyone to know that we had a excellent buying experience with our new car purchase at McDonald. We had Gary Clayton as our sales person and our purchase started 6 months ago when I had him order a vehicle for my wife and because of vehicle shortages it took a while. Gary was always keeping me updated and as soon as a vehicle that matched exactly what she wanted came in he called us and we were in and out in three hours (with a long test drive). John O'Hanlon took care of the financing and made it very easy and we felt taken care of and not pushed into anything. Thank you McDonald, Gary and John for a fantastic buying experience. Service: I have always had the best care with McDonald Hyundai. They listen to my concerns (I have very few because my Santa Fe sport is an excellent car). They are very friendly and keep me informed of time and cost immediately. I have another dealer/shop that is closer to me but because of the service and care I get at McDonald I will drive further to them. I highly recommend McDonald Hyundai service! Thank you Brad

Flew in from another state to pick up a Certified

Flew in from another state to pick up a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Ioniq with 8432 miles. We already own a 2022 Ioniq and loved it so much we wanted a second one. Talking with the sales person Kyle McMillen on the phone, he told us that this vehicle was a retired service loaner. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the dealership to make the purchase. Our sales person was not there so someone else handled the paperwork. No Problem. Were told that the sales person needed to sign off on the paperwork later and they would email me all the documents the next day. Friday. (I had to ask for the paperwork a week later). Upon loading the vehicle for our return home I notice there is a trailer hitch installed. When I inquire about that they say "our mistake, yeah this car is actually a lease return". Red flag for me. Paperwork is done. We are now driving home. Spend the night in Glenwood Springs. Next morning it is lightly snowing and forecast for a bunch of snow. We continue to not get stuck. Driving the car on the open road home we notice that the car is pulling to the right. We have not hit anything or taken it off road or anything of the sort. All smooth roads. After getting home we make contact with the Kyle at the dealership to inform of the pulling to the right. Vehicle needed an alignment. Also there were missing body parts underneath due to the trailer hitch install. He immediately referred us to his brother Kenneth McMillen the sales manager. I shared my concern about the alignment and the issue of a trailer hitch being installed. Kenneth made my point of concern perfectly by stating "there is no way of knowing if anything was towed with the car". Thank you Captain Obvious. Kenneth informs me to take the car to an alignment shop and get an alignment. Then tells me to let him know how he can help. I get the alignment and let him know he can help by covering the $130 cost and sending me the missing factory installed underbody parts. All this to a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that passed their 173 point inspection. Kenneth informs me the dealership would go out of business by fixing all the pre-owned vehicles and then does not reply back. Paid full asking price of a vehicle that was supposed to be a retired service loaner. Passed their 173 point inspection but still needed an alignment and has missing under body parts and a trailer hitch. I feel that this dealership cannot be trusted. Wanted to warn others to beware. Clearly by living out of state I will never do business with this dealership again but that would be the same for me if I lived around the corner from them. On a side note it has been almost a month and they have still not given me the title. Wonder if there is a problem with that.

Cindy, Kenny, and John were all very helpful and friendly. I was unsure what to do when deciding to trade in my 2009 Elantra that needed lots of repairs. While my old car was being serviced in the McDonald Hyundai shop, I put in a request online to get the value of my trade-in, and Cindy reached out right away to help. She quickly picked up my car from service and got it appraised, and had me choose some SUVs from the website to look at the next morning. My experience with Cindy and Kenny at the dealership that day was fun, smooth, and easy, and I was able to test drive several vehicles I liked before they found one for me that fit exactly what I was looking for. They arranged the trade-in of my old Elantra, and they even bought me a full tank of gas when I returned on Monday to drop off the old car keys. I love my 2016 Tucson Limited and I would recommend McDonald Hyundai to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car!

I have been a customer of McDonald Hyundai for 8 years and have purchased 2 vehicles from them. Each time, the experience has been exceptional. My most recent purchase was handled by Micah Levy. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the Santa Fe I purchased. There are a lot of electronic functions that he explained very thoroughly and patiently. The attention from the sales people continued even after I drove my new car off the lot. I received several texts from from not only Micah, but Kenny and Derek They congratulated me on my purchase and let me know they were available to assist me in any way if I had any problems or questions. Spenser in the finance dept. was also excellent-going through the paperwork and explaining it thoroughly. All this attention is first class customer service!!

I recently purchased a 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy at McDonald Hyundai. This is my third Santa Fe from this dealership over the past 12 years. My salesperson for the 2021 and my previous Santa Fe was Suzanne Dumont. Suzanne is a great person to work with when purchasing a car. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all, extremely accommodating. In her own words, "I want you to be happy with your new car." At no time did I feel any pressure to rush into a deal. Suzanne is committed to her customer's satisfaction. Also, the entire dealership is focused on the customer. This includes sales staff, finance, service, and parts. I have had all my servicing don at McDonald Hyundai. I can confidently recommend McDonald Automotive for all your car needs.

I worked with David Kuczek on 1/6/22. I had to purchase a replacement vehicle with an insurance payout after my previous car was stolen and subsequently totaled. He was very easy to work with! Very friendly, personable and not "pushy" at all. He made the process (that had been hard due to the nature of the reason for purchase) very easy and actually pleasant. The finance people were also very easy and pleasant to work with. The dealership went above and beyond in getting this "new" car ready for me. I would highly recommend David and McDonald Hyundai!

When I asked Derek to provide some sort of discount or even throw in rubber mats to justify the cost of $195 carpet mats under accessory charges, we were just given more BS and that there was nothing he could do for us. - Considering the massive inconvenience of having our original car sold from underneath us (to this day we still never received an explanation on why this happened), not being able to drive to work, grocery shopping, spent ridiculous amounts of money on car rentals/Ubers and lease amount increased, we left the dealership with a really bad taste in our mouths. - A part of me wishes that I had read the negative reviews on Google about McDonald Hyundai dealership. 'STEALERSHIP' is really the best word to describe our experience. - We worked with Doe to complete the paperwork. Doe was helpful and professional. - Buyer/ Leaser BEWARE and find another dealership. - We will be filing a complaint with Hyundai corporate about this and it is a shame that there was nothing they would do for us to provide a better customer experience.

I wish I could give this place zero stars!

I wish I could give this place zero stars! I took our 2015 Santa Fe in last November with a rattling sound on startup that after extensive Googling I thought was a timing chain tensioner. They had it SIX WEEKS before they decided I needed an "oil system flush" for 563 bucks! Well not only did that do ZERO to fix the problem, but to add damage to the experience these incompetent CLOWNS failed to lock our car and it got stripped of most everything inside! No break-in damage at all, they just didn't bother to lock it. They also sent me on a bit of an exhaustive wild goose chase gathering oil change papers on the STUPID assumption Hyundai would refuse servicing under warranty without it. Well Arapahoe Hyundai had NO problem with Hyundai, in a short 3 days they replaced what I KNEW was the problem in the 1st place and the engine is perfect again!!! You would absolutely have to have your head examined to go to McDonald Hyundai for ANY service, they're incompetent, they're careless, and they are hopelessly slow! You nailed me once but you'll never get me again!

Very dissatisfied with the service provided.

Very dissatisfied with the service provided. Did not fix my issue and used very time consuming and outdated method of reviewing the problem. Also said that my car was so out of alignment that it wasn't safe to drive. They aligned the car a month earlier and now wanted $400 to do it again. Find another place for service.
