With six different trim levels and two different drivetrain options, the Hyundai Tucson offers a lot of possible configurations. Luckily, our McDonald Hyundai team has created this guide, so that our customers near Littleton, Parker, and Castle Rock, CO, can thoroughly understand the choices that are available to them.

The first step to configuring your dream SUV is picking the right Hyundai Tucson trim level for your lifestyle.
Hyundai Tucson SE. The base model combines a capable engine with some impressive fuel economy ratings. Its 2.0L GDI 4-cylinder engine generates 161 horsepower while still managing to maintain some remarkable fuel efficiency: 23 city/28 highway/25 combined MPG.1
Hyundai Tucson Value. The next level adds a bunch of cool technology features. These include potentially life-saving ones such as a Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) as well as some more focused on convenience such as its Proximity Key with push button start. Questions about these? Please let us know.
Hyundai Tucson SEL. Moving on, the engine gets a bump up to a 2.4L GDI 4-cylinder powerplant with 181 horsepower. The wheels also get bumped up to 18-inch alloy versions, while the rest of the exterior benefits from the style of a chrome-tipped dual exhaust. Plus, it’s available in nine great colors.
Hyundai Tucson Sport. This compact SUV’s exterior simply continues to benefit as we move up the trims: 19-inch alloy wheels and full LED headlights highlight its body. However, so does its interior. InfinityÒ Premium Audio will have everybody rocking out, from your best friends to your Uber passengers.
Hyundai Tucson Limited. But Hyundai isn’t quite done upgrading the interior. This model comes with standard leather seating surfaces and a heated steering wheel, which will come in handy as things get cold during the winter in Castle Rock, Littleton, and Parker, Colorado—especially first thing in the morning.
Hyundai Tucson Ultimate. Finally, state-of-the-art driver-assistive technologies such as Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection (FCA-Ped), are standard fare in this top trim level. So is a panoramic sunroof, which is especially welcomed as spring rounds the corner and the light changes.

However, picking a trim level isn’t the only way you can configure this SUV—it offers two drivetrains.
Front-Wheel Drive (FWD). This is the standard option, and it’s a great option—ideal for everyday driving.
All-Wheel Drive (AWD). But, for more adventurous folks, this drivetrain is available on every single trim.
Both play nicely with the Tucson model’s standard 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONICÒ.
